We are currently seeking to add a Sulphur Labourer to our team.

Job Type: Full Time

As a Sulphur Labourer you are responsible for loading molten sulphur trucks and pouring molten sulphur on a client site in Fort McMurray. You will understand the Standard Operating Procedures and Critical Tasks, and ERP. You will also have excellent customer service skills as you will be interacting with the client, truck drivers and other KBL departments. The shift rotation is 1 week in 1 week out, flying from either Edmonton International Airport or Calgary International Airport. Camp accommodations and meals are provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

· Responsible for knowing and following the Standard Operating Procedures and mastering critical tasks

· Responsible for operating the Sulphur loading rack, where molten sulphur is loaded into trucks to be transported off site.

· Responsible for operating the Sulphur block where Sulphur is poured and formed to a block where it cools and solidifies for storage.

· Adhering to molten sulphur truck loading schedules

· Maintaining general housekeeping duties

· Ensuring regular checks are completed

· Collecting notes and regular reporting

· Be courteous to co-workers, truck operatives etc.

Qualifications:

The individual in this role will have:

· A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent

· Valid and current safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, WHIMS, TDG

· Previous oilfields experience an asset

· Previous experience working with Sulphur is an asset

· A strong attention to detail, communication skills and with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment

· Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure strategic communication with multiple stakeholders

· Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues

· Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices

· A valid and acceptable Driver's license, clean driver's abstract and successful completion of Pre-employment testing.

· Must be able to fly to work and stay away from home for extended periods of time

· Must be able to work outdoors throughout the year

· Must comply with the company's HSE policy as well as compliance with legislation.
