Job Title: Client Services Representative (Benefits Consulting) $53-56K + RRSPJob ID: SD73064767Location: Vancouver, BC Overview:Our client is a well-established Benefits and Pensions consulting firm, located in downtown Vancouver, looking to fill the position of Client Services Representative. If you are an outgoing, energetic, highly organized & self-motivated person who is interested in career advancement, then this permanent full-time position is for you. They need someone who can be anticipatory in their work and can juggle several balls at once. This position will appeal to someone who is highly self-motivated and thrives in a dynamic environment. What you will be doing:Administrative Support
  • Managing correspondence, filing, email maintenance
  • Coordination and minutes of meetings, to-do list maintenance
  • Some office reception, dealing with couriers, travel arrangements
Client Service Support
  • Work with the team on client issues/concerns relating to claims or other benefit inquiries.
  • Preparation of financial and renewal reports, including graphs, with review by Associate/Consultant
  • Request rate changes, request plan changes and review updated contracts/booklets for plan amendments.
  • Prepare marketing specifications, review insurer responses, prepare client proposal and assist with implementation of new plan or benefit updates.
What you must have:
  • Post secondary education
  • 2 – 5 years of administrative experience
  • Insurance industry experience and/or designations are an asset
  • University degree is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Proven writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
  • Effective in communicating clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Competent in analyzing figures and performing calculations
  • Highly organized in creating to-do lists and following deadlines
  • A team player who anticipates the needs of others and can work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office and MS Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Strong sense of humor
