Role Overview

This full-time position, located in our Kamloops manufacturing facility, entails designing custom LV switchgear, MCC, control panels, and similar automation solutions. We seek an experienced electrical designer with a direct background in designing power distribution and motor control equipment, poised to assume a leadership role within our expanding organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing LV switchgear, motor control systems, VFD panels, and control panels
• Proficiency in designing busbar systems
• Familiarity with CAE/CAD software, particularly Eplan P8/ProPanel and/or Fusion360
• Strong understanding of UL508A, UL891, UL845, CEC/NEC, and similar electrical equipment codes and standards
• Estimating experience in a systems integration/electrical equipment manufacturing environment
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications and translate them into compliant designs meeting specification and code requirements
• Dedication to continuous improvement and acquiring new knowledge
• Demonstrated success in a similar role
