Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a Seals Development Technician with experience in testing products, issuing test reports, and performing mechanical tasks. Familiarity with CAD software such as PTC Creo or SolidWorks is desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You have education in Mechanical Engineering Technologist or equivalent experience.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in commissioning, maintaining, or installing related equipment.
  • You are very mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail.
  • You have experience with troubleshooting complicated mechanical systems.
  • You are well-organized, meticulous individual with strong problem-solving skills.

Bonus Skills and Qualifications:

  • You have experience with CAD software such as PTC Creo or SolidWorks.

What Success looks like in this role:

  • You will execute development projects and tasks including product and prototype construction and testing; material qualification; failure investigation and reporting.
  • You will execute detailed test requests and issue reports outlining any issues or concerns.
  • You will perform mechanical tasks such as assembly, disassembly, and maintenance.
  • You will utilize CAD software to create and modify technical drawings and designs.
  • You will collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.
  • You will ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and perform regular maintenance.
