SUMMARY
The Electrician is involved in the installation, maintenance, and replacement of electrical systems. This work may exist indoors or outdoors depending on the scope and may be physically demanding.

Shift: 5/2 - Local to FMM candidate preferred
JOB DUTIES
- Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
- Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings, specifications, and applicable codes to determine wiring layouts
- Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings
- Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors
- Position, maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels and fuse enclosures
- Install, replace, maintain and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment
- Cost effective use of direct materials and consumables
- Ensure production compliance with both Company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Report and investigating all safety incidents, near misses, and accidents
- Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner
- Ensure that production tooling, equipment and facilities used are calibrated (where required) and properly used
- May perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Quality experience confirmed
- Must be an Alberta registered apprentice or ticketed journeyman (or hold an apprenticeship or journeyman certificate recognized by AIT)
- CSTS-09 and/or CSO
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Organized and self-motivated
