$90/hr as Inc $75/hr as T4

4 days a week 11.25 hrs per day
· Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
· Registration with Nova Scotia College of Nursing
· One (1) year of mental health and addictions experience in the last five (5) years
· Current CPR
· Experience, knowledge and respect regarding the principles of a harm reduction, as well as a working knowledge of the dynamics of addiction
· Experience in interviewing, counseling and teaching individuals and groups health concepts
· A well-developed awareness of community resources. Ability to be culturally sensitive, respectful, non-judgmental, patient, and understanding
· Exceptional skills in non-violent crisis intervention and conflict resolution, current CPI
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting
· Commitment to confidentiality and privacy of patients and clients
· Demonstrated skills in health assessment and the use of independent clinical and professional judgment in clinical practice and medical emergencies
· Competency in medication management - assessment/monitoring, education, support
· Excellent communication skills
· Knowledge and understanding of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM )
· BLS-C (HCP) certification
