How you can help and what we can accomplish together

As a Medical Office Assistant and Patient Experience Specialist, you will provide guest-centred care by assisting our medical and operating staff in managing patient activity. You will develop strong relationships with other practitioners and specialists in the community, working closely with Mental Health Care providers and Chronic Pain Management Specialists to provide excellent service and build one-on-one relationships that will facilitate ongoing continuity of and commitment to care.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Scheduling appointments and arranging physician and practitioner consultations
  • Preparing guests for examinations and treatments
  • Updating medical records
  • Contacting guests to remind them of required documentation and follow-up consultations
  • Participating in the company's ongoing professional development initiatives
  • Connecting with guests and supporting continuity of care
  • Provide support for general office administrative functions, including but not limited to medical records management

Let's talk about you

  • Minimum of one-year medical office experience and/or two years of healthcare or customer service experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is an asset
  • Experience in Mental Health is preferred
  • Electronic Medical Record or Electronic Health Record experience is required
  • Exceptional organizational and customer service skills
  • Good knowledge of both Microsoft Office and Google Workplace
  • Desire to be an integral part of a rapidly growing team dedicated to transforming the mental health care system
  • A collaborator at heart and able to establish meaningful rapport with a diverse group of individuals
  • Comfortable with new environments and the ability to adapt to evolving processes
  • Passion for learning
