As an ABA Therapist on our team, you are an integral part of our specialized services for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities. Salary: Starts at $21.00/hr
Schedule:
- Monday and Tuesday at 10:45 am to 6:45pm
- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday at 8:45 am -4:15 pm
Take an inside look at what you will do each day:
- Prepare and conduct comprehensive (intensive) ABA therapy sessions
- Collect and graph data
- Maintain client binders and materials
- Maintain daily written communication logs with family and other staff
- Demonstrate therapy sessions to families and other professionals as required
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Uphold Centre policies and procedures
- Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc. as set out by Monarch House
- Attend Monarch House social and public events
Here is what you will need to be successful
- Positive attitude, organized, and passion for learning
- Basic knowledge in applied behavior analysis principles, implementation, and ethical professional practice
- Post-graduate certificate in ABA (i.e., BST or ABS certificates) and/or undergraduate degree in psychology or a related field
- Registered Behavior Technician™ (RBT™) certification or willingness to complete training for RBT certification (within 3 mos.)
