A privately-owned and operated company, they make quality components such as durable labels, decals, nameplates, overlays, wide format digital graphics and membrane switches for companies worldwide. They are looking for an innovative, entrepreneurial, competitive-to-the-core business development professional to join their sales and marketing team. As a Business Development Executive, you have an entrepreneurial spirit which supports your ability to adapt and achieve results in a dynamic and challenging environment. You are a driven, relatable, and polished professional, who is an engaging team player and brings demonstrated leadership potential. While you are passionate about uncovering and developing new business opportunities, you also thrive on working with the sales force to increase sales in existing accounts. You bring a proven track record of achievement, specifically in sales growth and business development, and a hunger to learn and grow. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong presentation skills and be self-motivated to achieve results and win new business. A background in manufacturing, printing or graphics industries would definitely be an asset. What you will be doing:
  • This is a full-time position working out of the Coquitlam location, in addition to being out on the road attending client meetings.
  • You will be responsible for developing key strategies for bringing in new accounts and business growth whilst working with our Account Managers to ensure each client request is fulfilled with the highest quality, attention to detail and punctuality.
What you must have:
  • Knowledge and familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
  • Effective communicator, ability to foster strong connections by building trusting relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to work is a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding sales, business development and negotiation skills.
  • Strong Hunter in consultative sales with a desire to exceed expectations and quotas.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results.
  • Strong presentation skills and a confident public speaker.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Product Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently as well as be a contributing member of a team.
  • Technical aptitude to understand, advise and propose products.
  • Excellent work ethic, self–motivated and driven.
  • Previous experience in advanced manufacturing, vinyl graphics, banners, printing or graphics industries would be an asset.
  • Ability to be creative and provide solutions that make our clients look great!
