Forklift license, Class 5 driving license and First aid (completion prior to end of probation) required.

Wage: $26 per hour start and $28 per hour after 3 months (end of probation)

Job Type: Full-time

Total work hours: 8 hrs/day, 32hrs - 40hrs per week

11:00am to 7:30 pm, 5 days a week including some weekends

HSR requires a motivated individual to independently coordinate our warehouse operations in the absence of Operations Coordinator, support the waste audit.

The working conditions include indoor/outdoor tasks. Flexibility to work around morning and evening shifts is considered an asset.

This position will be filing in for our full time drivers as and when needed.

The Lead's primary role is to efficiently receive, coordinate and process all the different types of material that we recover at our facility. The role requires to do short pick-ups with an 18" cube truck and assist drivers on jobs at customer locations. Responsibility includes but is not limited to Health & Safety compliance, maintaining the equipment, job allocation, yard and facility organization.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Unloading/Loading materials from truck with the use of forklift, pallet jack or by hand
• Relief driver (18” cube truck)
• Coordinating the daily operations at warehouse including but not limited to shipping and receiving as well as material processing, in absence of operations coordinator
• Operating machine equipment – bailer, paper shredder, hanger shredder, wire stripper, conveyor belt.
• General labor work such as sorting, dismantling and processing mixed recyclables
• Swamping
• Fill in for our full time drivers as and when required
  
• Closing of Recovery Center

Requirements:

• Forklift Certificate min. 2 years experience
• Class 5 Driving License min. 2 years of driving delivery truck experience
• Level 1 Industrial First Aid Certificate - Completion prior to end of probation
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Intermediate MS Office proficiency
• Critical thinking and auditing skills
• TDG Certificate - Completion (prior to end of probation)
• WHIMIS - Completion prior to end of probation
• Work independently without supervision
• Take directions well with positive attitude and willingness to learn
