ArcGIS Enterprise Administrator – Independent Contractor

Role Overview:
As an ArcGIS Enterprise Administrator, you will play a crucial role in planning, configuring, and managing the organization's ArcGIS Enterprise deployment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the administration and maintenance of the system, managing users and groups, and ensuring efficient access to GIS resources.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Configuration and Maintenance:
- Plan, configure, and maintain the ArcGIS Enterprise system.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security.
- Implement advanced ArcGIS deployments and optimize system performance.
2. User Management:
- Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
- Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
3. GIS Data Management:
- Ensure data quality compliance for GIS data submissions.
- Improve data workflows through the development of scripts and models.
- Maintain spatial data integrity and accuracy.
4. Technical Expertise:
- Utilize ArcGIS suite of software, including geodatabases, and GIS data sources.
- Conduct spatial analysis, map projections, and other geospatial tasks.
- Document complex technical processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) with a major emphasis in GIS, Computer Science/Engineering, Cartography, or Geography.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with geospatial data, geodatabases, analysis, maps, services, and applications.
- Knowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts, including spatial analysis and map projections.
- Strong Technical proficiency in ArcGIS
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address advanced technical issues
