Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing data solutions that align with our organization's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data architectures to support business needs and ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
- Lead the design and implementation of data integration solutions, including ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools and technologies for data management, storage, and processing, with a focus on cloud-based solutions such as Azure.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, and mentor them on best practices in data architecture and design.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data management, big data, and analytics, and assess their potential impact on our data architecture strategy.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and drive innovation through data-driven insights and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies, and implement data quality standards and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 11-12 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database design.
- Proven expertise in data integration, ETL tools, and data warehouse concepts.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and experience with big data technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design innovative solutions to complex data challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer, Certified Data Management Professional) are a plus.
