They will then prepare and submit the quotation for the customer utilizing our ERP software system, while working with the shop foremen, the operations manager& our sales representativeto ensure accuracy, deliveries and details. They will also encourage relationships through communication to customers and material/ services providers relating to project specifics, purchasing, follow-up on status and incoming & outgoing deliveries.Required skills for this position include:
Strongmechanical aptitude,knowledge & experienceStrongwelding aptitude,knowledge & experience
Proven ability to read and understand weld symbols/processes in blueprints
Estimating/quoting and or Project management experience in a manufacturing organization.
Good computer skills, including decent typing skills with an aptitude for learning new software programs
Intermediate experience with drafting and purchasing is a definite asset
Understanding and or experience in machining an asset
Outgoing personality that includes good written and verbal communication to all levels internal & external
Detail oriented
