TAAG Family Office is looking for a full-time, Licensed, Life Insurance Professional to join the team. The successful individual will be responsible for presenting our brand in a positive and pleasant way to clients, employees, and customers and will focus on the following activities:

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum two (2) years experience working in the Financial Services industry, as a licensed life insurance professional. No selling or client sourcing required.
  • Successful candidate will process between 50 and 60 applications annually, which will occupy 20 to 30 percent of weekly/monthly and annual hours.
  • Ability to initiate and process applications for Life, CI, DI and follow through the underwriting process to issue policy placement in a timely, accurate and processional manner.
  • Liaison with MGA and Insurance companies.
  • A sound knowledge and exposure to working with life insurance and living benefits for high wealth clients is preferred.
  • A combination of relevant Investment / Wealth Management experience is considered an asset.
  • Good knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Word), Teams, Adobe and EQUISOFT CRM.
  • Work in a professional and positive manner while interacting with team members and clients.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal/external staff and clients to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure client deliverables are accurate and that FINTRAC regulations are being adhered to.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain office efficiency.
  • Bilingualism (English/French) would be considered an asset.

Client and Business Advisory Support:

  • Assist with client onboarding process, adhering to specific onboarding timelines.
  • Prepare client specific insurance sales presentations and reports.
  • Manage the Family Office sales, pipeline, and work in progress tracking and follow-up.

General Office Support:

  • Answer general phone and email inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Direct phone and email inquiries to the appropriate staff members.
  • Manage the Partner's calendar, including travel arrangements and other company logistics.
  • Prepare and handle incoming incoming/outgoing mail and courier deliveries.
  • Maintain the electronic and hard copy filing system.
  • Assist in CRM integration and ongoing client profile and product maintenance.
