Currently we are in need of a Telehandler/Bobcat Operator to join our Construction Team at our Surrey site.
- Perform pre-operational routine inspections of equipment.
- Safe and efficient operation of Telehandler and/or bobcats.
- Transporting materials and equipment.
- Identifying safety risks and hazards on site.
- Operate a telehandler to lift, move, and position materials on construction sites
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles
- Supporting the cleaning and maintaining equipment, machinery, and corresponding site areas.
- Dig trenches and shovel snow, gravel, and other materials.
- Cleaning off machinery at shops and client sites.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a telehandler or similar heavy equipment is required
- Telehandler Ticket is required
- Experience with boom lifts scissor lifts would be an asset as well.
- Knowledge of construction site operations and safety procedures
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and operate heavy equipment for extended periods of time
