We are currently searching for an energetic, motivated Stability Team Lead to join Apollo Team!
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
POSITION SCOPE:
Reporting to the Quality Control Laboratory Supervisor, the Stability Team Lead performs coordination of stability testing, analysis and stability related activities on finished products and R&D stability in accordance with approved methods, SOP, cGMP & GDP requirements. This role also applies technical experience/knowledge to investigate/evaluate processes, procedural practices including deviations, and recommend/implement appropriate corrective actions.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Maintains and coordinates the stability study schedules, sample pulls and tests on time
  • Performs physical and chemical testing on finished product and R&D stability samples samples as scheduled
  • Reviews the testing, supporting documentation, stability studies, equipment, and investigations as required by SOP
  • Maintains all related records within cGMP & GLP guidelines and performs accurate documentation of tests performed and results obtained
  • Investigations OOS and deviations that relate to stability testing, equipment, and stability group responsibilities
  • Coordination of stability testing with QC laboratory Team Lead or Designate
  • Develop training as an outcome or extension of SOPs; conduct the training for the quality control, stability, and all other applicable groups within quality control
  • Mentor laboratory staff in GMP testing, SOPs, process, and any other required tasks
  • Ensure that health and safety requirements and obligations under S.27 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, All company standards, policies, and procedures are met, provide support and assistance to the Joint Health and Safety Committee in compliance with the Joint Health and Safety Committee Terms of Reference HSS.006
  • Ensures that all analytical test results are within the acceptable range detailed in the appropriate specifications
  • Coordinates sample submission to the active bench, microbiology laboratory and external laboratory as required, as well as ensures results are properly documented
  • Reports and documents out of specification results and assists with investigation
  • Provides trend data on specific items as requested
  • Supports R&D studies with testing samples according to defined schedule
  • Provides technical input for development/ revision of analytical procedures/processes
  • Reviews analytical documentation, as well as assists with training of team members
  • Maintains laboratory equipment
  • Performs lab equipment calibration in accordance to procedures and maintains calibration documentation
  • Follows all standard operating procedures, health & safety procedures and other company policies
  • Uses and cares for personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Uses equipment, materials and machinery only as authorized
  • Identifies and reports any hazard(s), accidents, injuries requiring first aid, health care, lost-time injuries, occupational diseases, spills or incidents in the workplace
  • Provides support and assistance to the laboratory staff as required
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 2-3 years experience with University or equivalency required; Bachelor Degree in Chemistry required;
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS/CONTACTS: Regular access to confidential or sensitive information; Regular internal interactions and/or some minor external interactions; purpose of internal/external contacts is regularly related to complex matters; occasional consulting, teaching/instructing, or advising; above average level of written and verbal communication skills required for successful job performance.
