We're seeking an organized, innovative thinker and problem solver to join the Digital Nova Scotia team as a Project Manager. The Project Manager will plan, manage and ensure the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects and programming, all focused around engaging and advancing the digital sector in Nova Scotia.

The successful candidate will be a highly detailed, strategic thinker with a passion for process creation and refinement. They will have the ability to work independently, manage and support a team, and have previous project management experience. Knowledge of the tech industry in Nova Scotia is considered an asset but is not mandatory. Experience with people management, budgeting, and stakeholder relations are considered assets. What does the role look like?

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and administration of various projects in Digital Nova Scotia's portfolio
  • Engage with key stakeholders, funding partners, industry members, and program participants to support project plans and initiatives both internally and externally
  • Collaborate with multiple team members to create and leverage tools and resources to drive in-demand and impactful results
  • Monitor and manage project reports and budgets as per the funder's requirements
  • Support a team of Project Coordinators so they are set up for success and feel fulfilled in their roles

  • Experience working in, or with, a non-profit organization
  • Familiarity with submitting financial claims and reports for funding-based projects
  • Previous experience or a comfort working within; Google Workspace, Slack, WordPress, Excel, Monday.com and Asana
