Reporting to the VP Commercial risks, the Team Leader's main responsibilities will be to supervise the underwriters assigned to his or her team. They will ensure their team meets the company's service standards.

Main Responsabilities

Management

  • Coordinate, coach, and supervise team members
  • Manage daily operations
    • Manage the backlog of requests
    • Allocate resources according to business needs
    • Ensure compliance with service levels
    • Perform transactional quality control
    • Manage and plan vacations
    • May be required to provide underwriting support during peak periods
  • Performance Management:
    • Monitor production goals (KPIs)
    • Daily monitoring of individual performance
      • Productivity
      • Quality
    • Conduct annual performance evaluations
    • Participate in annual salary reviews
  • Collaborate actively with other team leaders to achieve common goals and meet the company's performance indicators
  • Collaborate actively with the Operation Support Director in the evolution of the management framework

Staffing and Integration

  • In collaboration with the HR team:
    • Participate in the selection process for new employees
    • Assign a success partner
    • Follow-up on the integration plan and ensure successful employee integration

Profile

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in the insurance industry
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in team management
  • Ability to analyze and make decisions under pressure
  • Demonstrate autonomy and resourcefulness
  • Good team spirit
  • Be a change agent
  • Ability with various software and technological tools
