Salary:

Due to growth within our company, we are seeking general labourers to join our production team in St. Clements (just outside of Waterloo). Our general labourers are integral members of the Artco family and facilitate a key step in the journey of bringing our clients' dreams to life.

This is a full-time position with 44 hours a week. Wage commensurate with experience. Benefits are provided after the 3-month probationary period.

Artco has nearly 40 years' experience in manufacturing case goods, upholstered furniture, and millwork for the hospitality industry across North America. Artco specializes in high-end custom furniture for luxury hotels and is part of the Chervin group of companies which also provides high-end custom residential cabinetry, residential furniture, and home décor.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Operate modern woodworking machinery to produce accurate parts for final assembly
  • Complete final sanding and assembly of high-end custom furniture for luxury hotels
  • Install hardware (handles, knobs, hinges, etc.) to finished furniture, as per specs provided from engineering
  • Package furniture for shipping to ensure safe transportation during delivery
  • Help maintain an organized and tidy workspace to ensure smooth processes and enable your team to produce the best quality products
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure production requirements are met safely and efficiently
