ABOUT YOU
As a member of the Ground Guys team, you will perform landscape maintenance work at high levels of quality and service. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.
You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. You have at least 5 years of landscaping experience and proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers.
Depending on qualifications and work performance, summer staff may be offered a position for winter with snow removal.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform landscape "Extras" such as hand garden weeding, planting of annuals, perennials, shrubs, spring clean-up, fall clean-up, trimming, and pruning, garden bed creation and planting, sod installations
  • Operate a variety of mechanical and hand equipment including bed edgers, blowers, dump trailers, pruners, line trimmers, chain saws, compact loaders and tillers
  • Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, top soil application, lawn seeding, sod installation
  • Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refer clients to the Team Leader as appropriate
  • Job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Perform other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma/GED (or current student status)
  • 5 years experience in field or related
  • Valid G Driver's License with clean driver's abstract
  • Background check
  • Own reliable transportation to shop
  • Able to work days, weekends, early morning, early evening
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with this position
