We are looking for an Accounting Clerk for our Eagle Ranch Resort at Invermere, BC. A successful candidate is required to work as per the company values: Caring, integrity, excellence, team spirit and financial responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in month-end and year-end close
  • Enter data, maintain records and create financial reports
  • Accounts payable, including vendor management, expenditure coding and ensuring timely payment
  • Accounts receivable, including customer setup, invoicing, collections and bank deposits
  • Follow up with customer payments and accounts
  • Balancing and reconciling cash on hand and G/L accounts
  • Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries including property level reports
  • Administer/Implement accounting procedures
  • Inventory management
  • Administration of staff enrollment and housing
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • 1-3 years of relevant, hands-on accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Proficiency with computers, bookkeeping software and MS Excel
