About the position - This is a 1 year contract role

The Project Manager role will be responsible for cheese shredding and cream cheese projects on the horizon. The PM is responsible for the execution deadlines, quality and budget of these projects.

Responsibilities:

• Act as an Upfield employee protecting the interests of company.
• Responsible for safety requirements are met by General contractor (Constructor)
• Perform toolbox talks with Upfield's direct sub-contractors.
• Create RFQ/URS for equipment.
• Review submitted proposals from vendors.
• Request Purchase orders
• Work with procurement for having contracts and framework agreements signed off.
• Work with Upfield's operation team for defining and signing off layout and equipment specs.
• Participate in SteerCo and follow up meetings with the team.
• Manage vendors/contractors hired by Upfield.
• Manage and coordinate the project schedule.
• Manage installation, commissioning and start up of equipment.
• Manage change orders.
• Prepare progress report and present to senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years Project management experience in the food industry is needed
• Experience working and managing equipment in the plant
