THE OPPORTUNITY
Triton Environmental Consultants Ltd. (“Triton”) is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse/Office Support Person to join a well-established team of environmental professionals in our Prince George, BC office. This is a short-term contract position well- suited to a student or retired individual looking for some summer income. The selected candidate will provide a wide range of support to our warehouse, administrative, and technical staff.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist with the mobilization and demobilization of trucks and field equipment.
  • Assist with scheduling and tracking of vehicles and field equipment.
  • Wash vehicles, conduct minor maintenance and repairs to field equipment.
  • Purchase and pick up supplies from local vendors.
  • Provide transportation for technical staff to and from the airport.
  • General tidying of warehouse and equipment.
  • Other minor office administration duties as required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Ideal candidates will possess the following skills, traits, and qualifications:
  • Willing to work flexible hours and shifts including occasional evenings and weekends
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's licence from a Canadian province or territory acceptable for driving alone and with passengers in a work setting. Due to rental vehicle restrictions, candidates must be 21 years of age or older and have a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable driving full size pick-up trucks and towing trailers.
  • Preference is for a resident of Prince George, BC or the surrounding local area; there is no employer-provided relocation and/or travel reimbursement being offered at this time.

DURATION: The temporary contract term is targeted to start early May and last until August 31, with the possibility of extension.
COMPENSATION RANGE: The compensation range for this position is $23-28 per hour, depending on candidate experience and educational level.
