As part of their continuing growth in this high technology market, the client is recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist- X-Ray in Waterloo! The overall objective of this position is to be critically involved in the optimization of the methods used to manufacture the company's products and to ensure the manufacturability of Xray products. At all times, the objectives must be to strive to improve the process that meets the necessary balance between efficiency, quality, and cost. The implementation cycle should be optimized to produce an excellent production method as early as possible, thereby minimizing the company's expenses in developing new processes and hence reducing the payback period to the company. What you will be doing:

• Carry out experiments and analysis of available measurement data and respond to the input of manufacturing personnel to recommend and/or implement changes or improvements to production methods.
• Carry out problem solving activities within manufacturing to ensure product is shipped on time on schedule.
• Maintenance and upkeep of capabilities for equipment used in test of the company's products.
• Complete tasks within agreed upon time and cost schedules

What you must have:

• College Diploma in Electronics Technology
• 3 to 5 years' experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
