Through an understanding of our clients business, we turn today's talent into tomorrow's success.Our clients are currently seeking a Class 3 Driver to operate a Roll Off and/or Front Load Garbage Truck in Fredericton, NB.THE ROLE
Operate one or more vehicle types with both automatic and standard transmission and collect solid waste and/or recyclables on a collection route. Route may vary daily based on service needs.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports, daily truck report, route sheets and other documentation requested by supervisor daily.
Ability to maintain an accurate log bookFollow all safety standards, equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties. Comply with all federal, state/provincial, local and company rules on safety and vehicle operation.
Maintain clean vehicle by cleaning cab interior and exterior of vehicle.
Ensure that all required personal protective equipment be worn at all times (i.e., gloves, reflective vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc.)
Provide excellent customer serviceREQUIREMENTSValid Class 3 Driver's License air brakes endorsement
Current drivers abstract, with no major violations
Steel Toe CSA Approved boots
Ability to lift up to 50lbsSuccessful completion of WHMIS, TDG, and onsite road test, coupled with all other job related training requirementsFamiliarity with driving in Fredericton and surrounding areas an assetWHAT WE OFFER$23.00 PER HOUR PLUS VACATION PAYOccupation Health and Safety TrainingPrompt weekly payroll through direct deposit only
