Job Title: Plumber Helper
We are looking for competent and experienced Plumber Helper to assist with new installations and service / maintenance work for residential and commercial clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide some idea of the tasks you may be performing, a list of responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Assist with various plumbing scopes of work
- Follow the direction of the Journeyperson Plumber and/or Manager
- Load, unload and transport construction materials
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Perform routine maintenance work
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Other tasks as required by the manager
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements and qualifications for this position are a combination of skills and attitude:
- Must have 2+ years of residential and commercial plumbing experience
- Irrigation / drainage experience an asset
- Aerial lift / work platform training
- Fall Protection training
- Experience with power tools
- Understanding of plumbing specifications and drawings
- Must be working towards a Journeyperson Plumber Certification
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to pass a Drug and Alcohol pre-screen
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Must speak and write English
- Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to work
This position involves physical labour and therefore requires that the individual be capable of performing heavy labour activities.
Work Environment: Indoors / outdoors; at heights; noisy; dusty; confined spaces; hot/cold conditions
Terms of Employment: Full time, permanent

Wage Range: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
