About the role

We are seeking highly skilled founding full-stack engineers to join our team. As a founding member, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining both the front- and back-end components of our product.

Responsibilities

1. Building Core Foundations: You will spearhead the development of the core, scalable foundations of our backend infrastructure from scratch, laying the groundwork for a groundbreaking product in a rapidly growing market.
2. Developing User Interface: Collaborate in planning, building, and refining our user interface to ensure it is intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with customer needs and expectations.
3. Product Roadmap Planning: Work closely with our founding team to gather insights from customer meetings and shape the product roadmap accordingly to achieve rapid product-market fit.
4. Team Building: Play an integral role in assembling and scaling our engineering team, setting the culture, and driving growth.

Skills & Experience

Must Haves:

• Expertise in Python.
• Experience with databases (Postgres).
• Familiarity with full-stack development and frameworks.

Preferred:

• Experience with Web Development (Typescript/React).
• Previous experience building and scaling commercial software.

Nice To Haves:

• Experience with WYSIWYG HTML document editor APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS DevOps tooling.
• Knowledge of IT security.
• Exposure to AI technologies.

Benefits

• Base salary ranging from $113,400 to $214,200 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Equity ranging from 0.1% to 1.25%, allowing you to share in the success of our company.
