Role:
Do you find joy when design elements align and layouts feel intuitive yet delightful? We're excited to be looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Product Team! This role will report to the Director of Product and work seamlessly as a part of our Product and Engineering Teams.
Partnering closely with design and product management, the successful candidate will have empathy for users and a detailed approach to design that will assist our team in building on our platform and ecommerce storefront widget experiences! With impeccable visual design, natural curiosity and a passion to understand user behaviour they will thrive on our cross-functional team.

Responsibilities:
- Delight our users with a crisp, effective and effortless interface
- Lead execution for the complete design lifecycle from project conception with Product, implementation with Developers, experience acceptance with QA and reflection on outcomes post-release
- Effectively take abstract concepts and transform them into realized solutions with design
- Engage in weekly design reviews, assessing solutions and communicating reasoning behind design choices that leverage superior understanding of user experience
- Deeply understand pain points with continual research and user interviews to develop deft solutions for users
- Advocate to maintain high standards by staying up to date with usability and accessibility best practices
- Iterate on our design system, crafting elegant and reusable components that facilitate an efficient design process in the future
- Architect clear design documentation for ease of developer implementation
- Generate concise and comprehensive artifacts including user personas, conceptual models, site maps, functional flows and annotated wireframes where appropriate
- Reflect regularly on our design processes to encourage our team to operate at its best
Requirements:
- An online portfolio or PDF showcasing your thoughtful, detailed and beautiful design along with your creative process
- Training in product design, experience creating high-fidelity interactive prototypes
- Bachelor's degree in design, HCI or equivalent practical experience
- Experience designing for SaaS platforms, bonus if you were in an ecommerce space
- Background working with developers and agile teams in past roles
- Proven expertise with a skill set that includes visual & interaction design, responsive design, information architecture, user research, accessibility design, usability heuristics and design principles
- Demonstrated expertise in industry-standard tools like Figma
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Compensation:
We offer a starting salary of $110,000 - $135,000 CAD depending on experience.
We take a holistic approach to compensation at Stamped. Total compensation includes Salary, benefits, RRSP, ESPP, an annual education allowance and other perks.
