Reporting to the Creative Director, the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist is the tech lead of the Brand & Marketing team, driving impactful online initiatives. We are searching for an insightful, data-driven professional who can adapt digital strategies to a variety of audiences. This role is responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns across various digital channels. As part of the Brand & Marketing team, this role is responsible for ensuring YW Calgary programs, services, revenue-generating enterprises, and strategic initiatives are promoted with an optimized, targeted, and results-driven approach via digital media.

This is a Full-time position working 37.5 hours per week; Monday- Friday with a Hybrid work schedule, 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Some travel may be required for various events.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop the digital marketing strategy and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions
  • Manage and optimize paid campaigns on Google and Meta to maximize ROI
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics across all digital marketing channels to track campaign effectiveness, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization
  • Understanding of the functionality of YW Calgary website, ensuring it reflects our brand identity and effectively communicates our offering
  • Support with the development strategy of the new YW website
  • Implement data collection processes to regularly provide performance updates on advertising, social media, webpages, etc.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and engagement
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging digital assets that align with brand guidelines and resonate with our audiences, utilizing appropriate tools and resources
  • Advise on content strategy for organic social channels to optimize performance and growth
  • Assist in managing relationships with Resource Development, Program, Communications and Impact areas, to support team initiatives and ensure seamless execution of campaigns and reporting
  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital campaigns for fundraising, programs, services, and revenue-generating enterprises, that align with our different audiences: donors, clients, customers, employees, and the community, while using an equity, diversity and inclusion lens
  • Ensure digital campaigns maintain consistent language, messages, tone and brand
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in digital marketing, e-commerce, and technology to continuously improve our digital marketing strategies and tactics
  • Participate in ongoing opportunities for professional development

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Post-Secondary education, with a concentration in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Five years of experience in a related field
  • Experience managing a website: regular updates, knowledge of widgets and general functionality
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts including SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing
  • Knowledgeable in Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Business and Ads Manager
  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify and/or Squarespace is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and optimize campaign performance
  • Proven track record of successfully managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, driving measurable results, and achieving KPIs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
  • Ability to write, edit and proofread
