The Opportunity:

As Project Accountant, you will be joining the Accounting Department and Project Management team, providing impeccable service to a dynamic group of companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to the Project Management Team and directly reports to the Senior Accountant
  • Maintain a portfolio of projects throughout the project life cycle, such as forecasting, budgets, reconciliations and profitability reporting.
  • Produces timely and accurate invoices through careful attention to detail, and improvements to information processing
  • Works with Senior Accountant to collect on accounts in accordance with RAM policies and procedures
  • Process and track all subcontractors, change orders and purchase orders whether fully approved or ongoing
  • Ensures projects are in accordance with rate sheets, contract terms and MSA's
  • Client onboarding and pre-qualification
  • Assist with client inquiries
  • Participate in month end reporting

Qualifications:

  • Accounting diploma or degree
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in full cycle bookkeeping
  • Experience in job costing is an asset
  • High standard for accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, SharePoint and QuickBooks Online
  • Problem solver with solid analytical skills.

Compensation: Salary 65,000 – 70,000 a year

Schedule: Full time Monday to Friday 8:00-4:00 pm

Vacation: 2 weeks
