DescriptionHi! I am Lisa, Pianote's VP at Musora Media. We are looking for an Education Manager who is passionate about shaping educational experiences for pianists.
If this sounds like you, come help us lead the charge in designing innovative learning pathways that empower our students and give them an engaging and meaningful experience.
This role will be primarily onsite, with flexibility for occasional remote work.
Priority will be given to those candidates that complete all the application steps.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Curriculum development for pianists, that support our goals.
    • Create up to 12 courses per year that result in meeting registration goals. This will involve working with both artists and educators.
    • Increase the average start rates of new content.
    • Ideate and host a weekly or monthly members live stream.
    • Create annual short-form educational videos, that address student needs.
    • Release monthly practice-along videos/workouts.
  • Content Creation
    • Assist with the creation of content.
    • Ensure pre-video production alignment.
    • Assist with asset creation.
    • Collaborate with artists.
    • Assist with film shoots.
    • Assist with non-production projects.
  • Improve and support the student experience
    • Ensuring song releases meet the needs of our students and set the bar for piano transcriptions.
    • Responding to questions and noting opportunities for improvement.
    • Establishing best practices for the best possible student experience.
    • Moderator (MOD) Management.
    • Cross-team collaboration to ensure our student's experience is seamless.
    • Increasing engagement (comments) on our forums and Facebook.
    • Collaborate with the product team to ensure our product and features align with our student and content needs.
    • Leverage AI to support connecting & supporting our students.
  • Project Management
    • Assist the VP, Pianote and ensure all projects run smoothly.
    • Strategize & collaborate with the brand team to ensure educational releases align with promotions and public-facing content. We want to weave a common thread between media, marketing, and education.

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseKnowledge/Education/Experience
  • 5+ years of experience playing and developing the piano
  • 5+ years of teaching experience with a background in music education and knowledge of current/past pedagogy
  • Music theory knowledge, with the ability to write, read, and proof notation/sheet music
  • Excited and comfortable being on screen to film lessons/videos
Skills, Abilities and Other Attributes
  • Key understanding of data management and collaboration through Google Docs, spreadsheets, Google Drive, and more
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with particular attention to spelling and grammar
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and manage talent in the studio
  • Deep understanding of the instrument as it relates to the brand
  • Deep understanding of modern social media, trends, and behaviors (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, etc…)
  • Resourceful and able to research, and find the right people and tools to achieve results
  • A Growth Mindset and willingness to learn new skills, a continuous learner

  • Proficiency in the English language (written and verbal)
