About the Role
Our Engineering team is responsible for the code that enables our customers to achieve powerful outcomes with our product, in a simple and intuitive manner. We prioritize delivering the right product iterations swiftly, employing a methodology of building minimum viable products, deploying to production multiple times per day, listening to customer feedback, and iterating accordingly.
At our company, we handle high-volume data ingestion in real-time from over 20 integrations (such as Ticketmaster and Shopify), store and query billions of customer data points, and send over 200 million emails and SMS messages every month to our clients' customers. As we continue to grow our business profitably, the scale of technical challenges we tackle is expanding rapidly.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses a deep understanding of building scalable backend systems, a strong sense of ownership, and thrives on owning projects from inception to scaling in production.
Requirements
What You'll Do
- Collaborate on defining our technical vision, leading discussions, and implementing multiple complex projects.
- Continuously enhance our engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the codebase, productivity, and the team.
- Participate in recruiting, conducting interviews, and developing your own interview questions while fostering a culture of excellence, velocity, and humility.
- Inspire and mentor less experienced engineers.
What You'll Need
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality products and features at scale.
- Ability to translate business and product ideas into engineering solutions.
- Desire to thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft.
