ROLLIN ISLAND AUTOS is looking for a full time Automotive Technician to join our team in our busy Campbell River location. Our ideal candidate has a passion for the automotive industry!We are thinking outside the box on this one, and feel this is an amazing opportunity for the right person. And how about a small family style location where you can make a difference, but that is part of a growing auto group with 9 other dealership locations to be a part of something exciting? Responsibilities:

• Promotes dealership by presenting professional image, positive attitude, and clean work area
• Road tests vehicles to ensure repairs are completed properly
• Suggests additional work that is needed to the Service Advisor
• Completes service and repair assignments correctly, to pass quality inspections or test drives
• Collects all necessary information before requesting parts (e.g., model year, etc.)
• Maintains sufficient personally-owned tools; keeps tools in good working order
• Notifies Service Advisor if delays are expected
• Submits all claims promptly
• Promotes a productive working relationship with others
• Provides clear and legible record of service completed for both customer and dealership use

Requirements:

• Full knowledge and ability to perform all automotive repairs
• Maintain a tidy workspace
• Have your own tools
• Have a valid driver's license
• Can work independently

Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day (40 hours per week) - EVERY WEEKEND IS A LONG WEEKEND!

Wage:

• Depending on experience; $35-$45 per hour
• Annual boot and tool allowance

Experience:

• Automotive technician: 3 years minimum experience
