Evolve Recycling is looking for full-time permanent Forklift Operator/General Labourer to work in our tire recycling facility in Brantford, ON. Evolve Recycling is Canada's leader in tire recycling turning used tires into usable products such as multi-purpose matting, artificial sports surfaces and other innovative products.
Continental Night Shift: 7pm-7am – no rotating shifts
Wage: $19-20/hr
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Start-up and shutdown of machines
- Complete pre-start checklists and daily production reports
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Operate a forklift
- Assist other operators when required
- Stage materials on the plant floor
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previously experience with forklifts
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing facility
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Willingness to assist where needed
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as required
