Job DescriptionThe operator performs the various loadings of material as well as any other handling of equipment, requiring the use of his machine. They will proceeds to the various weighing's of material which enters or leaves the yard.
- Receive the metal and sort and deposit it in the appropriate place;
- Unload the trucks and check the quality of the stock;
- Transport containers of non-ferrous material;
- Load ferrous products for customers;
- Perform hardware identification tests using appropriate products or magnets;
- Take inventory of the material in stock according to the established schedule;
- Record and report, the weights of material going in and going out the site;
- Properly weigh and track the material
- Do general maintenance of the premises
- Ensure the equipment in good condition
- Provide excellent customer service to clients on site
- Work with a safety oriented mindset
Qualifications
- Ability to drive and operate a heavy vehicle;
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

- Permanent, full-time position
