Our award-winning client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. Our client is a consumer goods company seeking a talented HR Generalist to join their team. You'll play a vital role in supporting employee relations, training & development, and ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Be the go-to person for employee HR questions and concerns.

• Maintain employee handbooks, company policies, and organizational charts.

• Manage and lead training initiatives and support employee professional growth.

• Oversee the annual performance review process.

• Support progressive discipline programs and conduct workplace investigations.

• Actively participate in the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) and address health and safety concerns.

• Work on various HR projects and maintain accurate employee files.

• Provide backup support for payroll processing and assist with recruitment initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources or Business.

• 5+ years of general HR experience.

• Strong understanding of employment law and regulations.

• Previous experience with Health & Safety best practices.

• Proven ability to conduct thorough workplace investigations.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Plus Points:

• CHRP designation is a plus.

• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.

• Experience managing large-scale HR projects is a plus.
