The Kamloops branch is currently searching for an Inside Sales Representative to join their team. This is a full-time position in the specialty field of hydraulics. The Inside Sales person is focused on providing customer service for a broad range of repair and part inquiries, over various industries such as Mining, Forestry, Municipal and Marine. What you will be doing:

• Respond to internal and external enquires via phone, e-mail, fax or in person
• Work closely with outside sales team to ensure customer service excellence
• Great professional customer service skills, including verbal, written
• Understand our product lines and be willing to learn how to promote them
• Understand the importance of good follow-up and response time to our customers
• Procurement of products for orders and/or repairs

What you must have:

• 3+ years' experience in a customer service role
• Ideally 2+ years' experience within the hydraulics or similar technical industry
• Integrity, vision, professionalism, and passion are key components of this position
• Ability to follow, with detail, written and verbal instructions
• Strong attendance track record with the ability to get along well with others
• Proficient written and oral communication skills (ability to read and write legibly)
• Knowledge of components and hydraulic systems used in industry and mobile equipment is an asset
• Knowledge of distribution sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques are an asset
• Proven ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
• Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills
• Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
• Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Must be computer literate with knowledge of all standard Microsoft Office programs
