Job Description

Overview of the position:

This is a new and strategic opportunity to join a passionate Canadian team in a high growth, thought leadership advisory position driving transformational change. Leveraging Scaled Agile's SAFe Framework, you will support Enterprise customers, Government organizations, Strategic Partners and the SAFe community to inspire and build new ways of working and accelerating business transformations and innovation. A key talent in this role is helping Scaled Agile develop and support a community of agile thought leaders in bringing best practices to evolving agile models or work. “Work Differently. In this strategic role, you will be working alongside account managers and partners in Canada developing and leading successful agile transformation strategies at our largest customers inspired by the SAFe Framework. You will be sharing your knowledge and experience of transformation in these Enterprises while being responsible for developing deeper relationships for all types of customers, giving them the tools, techniques, networks and strategy to create lasting change.

The role will be based in Canada. Many organizations are adopting the SAFe Framework in Canada, especially in the commercial and federal markets. You need to demonstrate through experience, the passion and drive to personally excel while helping these organizations succeed as they transform.

You will be responsible for not only identifying new opportunities, you will also be responsible for cultivating meaningful lasting multilevel relationships from Engineers to C-level Executives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work with Senior Executives within SAI's Enterprise and Partner customer base to help them understand how to lead change in their organizations and why their role is critical for business agility to thrive
  • Build and support a Canadian community of SAFe Professionals
  • Provide subject matter expert advisory in SAFe's advanced content to increase awareness, utility and impact with our customers
  • Support agile and industry events, meetups and conferences for increased SAFe awareness through networking and occasionally speaking
  • Collaborate and support the account teams to ensure our community of SAFe organizations are thriving, growing and extending their capabilities.
  • Work with and coach SAI partners to develop their SAFe transformation capabilities
  • Initiate, develop and grow senior level relationships within Enterprise Accounts
Qualifications

Skills and experience that are important for the role:

  • Significant experience with Lean and Agile, system development, product management, or product owner experience at an Enterprise or System Integrators/consulting firms.
  • Demonstrated SAFe thought leadership
  • Ideally a certified SAFe SPCT or SPCT eligible candidate or an SPC willing to become an SPCT. Ideally;
    • At least one successful SAFe implementation
    • At least one ART launch
    • At least one Value Stream and ART Identification Workshop
    • At least one example of community engagement (blog post, webinar, video, podcast, etc.)
  • Previous experience working with complex organizations as part of an Agile transformation ideally having developed and led agile practices.
  • Ability to lead and influence across different organizations and align diverse teams to a common goal.
  • Language - English, both written and oral. Having knowledge of French would be an advantage.

Where you'll be working:

  • Work location – This position will be based at your home office in Canada, with easy access to an international airport. #LI-Remote
  • Travel - up to 40% in Canada and travel to the USA occasionally.
