Job Title: Shutdown Quality Control Administrator

Location: Camp-based site North of Fort St. John

Shift Pattern: 6 days on, 1 day off, 12-hour shifts

Industry: Oil and Gas

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the management and organization of all project-related drawings and quality control documents to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
  • Ensure that all welding activities comply with specified standards and that welders hold the required qualifications.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of quality control processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with project teams to communicate quality requirements and ensure that all aspects of the project adhere to established quality standards.
  • Maintain records of inspections, tests, and audits, and prepare quality control reports for project management and clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to resolve any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quality control within the oil and gas sector.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience as a Quality Control Administrator or similar role within the oil and gas industry, particularly in shutdown or turnaround projects.
  • Strong knowledge of welding processes, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the oil and gas industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple documents and ensure the integrity of project data.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various project teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in document management systems and quality control software.
  • Ability to work in a remote, camp-based environment on a 6 on/1 off, 12-hour shift schedule.
  • Commitment to promoting Indigenous employment and engaging with Indigenous communities in a respectful manner.
