Position Summary
As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our Salesforce implementation. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the Salesforce platform. You will be responsible for our CRM platform's day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement. You will work closely with internal business analysts and technical architects to identify, develop, and deploy new and improved processes and capabilities for sales, support, marketing, and finance teams.
Key Accountabilities
  • Serve as the primary system administrator for our Salesforce environment with 100+ users
  • Handle all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, profile and permission management, reports and dashboards, workflows, approval processes, and other routine tasks
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for platform releases
  • Collaborate with the Security team support overall platform security
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, testing, and completion of new development requests
  • Work with our functional business leads to define suitable processes to support operational, administrative, and change management activities
  • Assist in training of new users, and grow the Salesforce skill set across the organization
  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors, and the application development teams
  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
Skills/Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator
  • Salesforce Admin (ADM201 and ADM211) certified is an asset
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom objects/fields, formula fields, workflows, process builder, flows, reports/dashboards, and managing profiles/permission sets
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Communities is highly recommended
  • Strong data management abilities, including experience with Excel/GSheets and SOQL for data export, manipulation, and upsert back into the system
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred

  • Web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Big-data analysis and reporting (Excel, Power BI)
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with building or maintaining integrations between different business systems
  • Experience delegating and managing work for third-party service providers to execute
  • Experience with international data privacy and other compliances as it relates to our business system processes and data governance
