Reporting to the Director, Sales Strategy and Revenue Management, the Manager, Revenue & Profit Strategy is responsible for driving profitable growth by optimizing trade investment, enhancing pricing strategies, and supporting financially sound business decisions across customer and brand portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the annual trade budget in collaboration with Finance
- Provide timely margin and budget updates with actionable recommendations to Sales Leadership
- Develop and circulate monthly trade and margin reports across the Sales team
- Analyze pricing and promotional plans to inform revenue strategies and business planning
- Partner with Account Teams to improve spend efficiency and grow profit
- Present financial insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Support the development of pricing strategies for categories and new product launches
- Conduct profit and loss analysis for key customer negotiations and commercial initiatives
- Evaluate promotional performance and optimize trade spend effectiveness
- Guide seasonal assortment planning to maximize gross profit
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business or related field
- 6–8 years of experience in the packaged goods industry, ideally with national account and channel experience
- Strong financial acumen with experience in profitability analysis, forecasting, and budget management
- Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into strategic action
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
