Labourer II, Muttart Conservatory

The Muttart Conservatory preserves and grows one of Canada's largest botanical collections and shares knowledge and enthusiasm for nature year round with its visitors. They are also responsible for growing the annual flowers for the City of Edmonton. As a Labourer II, you will work under the guidance, coaching and mentorship of a Facility Grower to: What will you do? - Perform seasonal tasks, including transplanting, planting, stocking, seeding, watering, mixing soils, and filling flats and pots with soil - Maintain the cleanliness of the work stations and greenhouses - Operate equipment for production as required, including seeder machine, bale buster, pallet jack and punchable transplant machine - Assist with district plant pick-ups - Work with Grower team to complete show change overs - Fulfilling online plant sale orders by collaborating with the team - Knowledge and practice of safe work ethic - Other duties as required
