Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Director, Procurement - NPK, the Enterprise Materials Management, Logistics & Trade Compliance will lead the enterprise strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of Nutrien's materials management practices across the Upstream businesses. This includes inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics governance, trade compliance, and working capital optimization.
In this highly visible leadership role, you will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial leaders to improve inventory performance, strengthen supply chain reliability, optimize working capital, and drive standardization across the enterprise.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead Nutrien's enterprise materials management strategy and governance framework.
  • Establish standards and best practices for inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and trade compliance.
  • Drive improvements in inventory productivity, inventory accuracy, and working capital performance.
  • Reduce excess and obsolete inventory while supporting safe and reliable operations.
  • Provide enterprise oversight for logistics performance, transportation effectiveness, customs compliance, and trade governance.
  • Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with senior leaders to identify opportunities, manage risks, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Build organizational capability through training, standardization, and knowledge sharing.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in materials management, supply chain, logistics, procurement, inventory management, or operations.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic influencing skills.
  • Experience driving inventory optimization, working capital improvements, and operational excellence.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate operational performance into business outcomes.
  • MBA, SCMP, APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD), Lean Six Sigma, or related certifications are preferred.
