Full-Time Retail Security Guard

We are looking for a Full Time, Retail Security Guard in Sudbury!

Position Highlights:

• Guaranteed full-time hours
• Flexible schedule within retail store operating hours
• Availability required: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM, all 7 days of the week

This position does not have overnights and varies week to week based on needs. Successful applicants will be available between 0900-2200 everyday and be available to work 4-5 shifts per week as assigned.

Pay Rate: $24.75/Hour

Responsibilities for a Retail Security Guard in Sudbury

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Act as a visual deterrant for those looking to shoplift
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Intercept shoplifters and potential shoplifters to deter them from continuing their actions
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Foster a safe and comfortable environment for staff and patrons

Qualifications for Retail Security Guard in Sudbury

• Be eligible to work in Canada
• A valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
• A valid First Aid & CPR certificate from a WSIB approved provider
• Available to work flexible hours
• Available between 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day
• Have a clear criminal background
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
• Previous certification in NVCI or Verbal Intervention an asset
• Be physically able to take and pass a Use of Force class
