Who is a Purchasing Administrator?
The Purchasing Administrator is responsible for processing and managing invoices for the Purchasing Team. This includes verifying and reconciling invoices, ensuring accuracy of data and communicating with vendors to resolve any discrepancies.
What will you be doing?
- Processes and enters vendor invoices in corresponding CMMS Work Order & Purchase Order Modules
- Forwards processed PO invoices to A/P for payment
- Liaises with Accounts Payable to reconcile vendor payments, addresses invoice issues and ensures month-end requirements are met
- Supports the Purchasing and Inventory Team with administrative tasks that include fulfillment needs/forecasting, and general tracking of parts inventory
- Assists in maintaining accurate price records/vendor data
- Communicates with vendors to resolve discrepancies
- Assists Purchasing with a variety of record keeping responsibilities such as warranty/vendor portal management
Do you have what it takes?
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Data entry or clerical experience
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools such as Email, Excel, Teams, etc.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail to identify discrepant information
