Hourly Amusement Player, Front of House
Our Amusement Player, Front of House are an integral part of the team who provide an exceptional entertainment experience to each and every guest. The Amusement Player, Front of House operates all major attractions and is an expert on gaming within the facility and can help answer and/or curate the gaming experience for both experienced and non-experienced gamers. Cineplex Entertainment, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, is currently recruiting for the position of Hourly Amusement Player – The Rec Room West Edmonton Mall, reporting to the Service Manager. This position will be based at The Rec Room West Edmonton Mall, 8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5T 4J2 .
In this role, your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Upselling games by showing guests game operations, encouraging guests to play and creating an overall fun, playful environment for them.
Ensuring both games and individual stations are clean, well-maintained and fully operational and assisting with restocking the Store.
Being a trusted resource for guests' inquiries and concerns and have a working knowledge of the venue's pricing for special events, promotions and daily events.
Qualifications:
This role may be a perfect fit for you if:
For licensed venues, candidates must be the required age of majority or older
You preferably have some experience with customer service
You can complete tasks with attention to detail
You have strong problem-solving and communication skills
Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.
