What you will do:

Director, Digital Product Management

Working from the Cineplex corporate head office at 1303 Yonge Street, Toronto (Yonge and St. Clair) 3 days per week.

We are looking for a driven, results-oriented, team-focused leader to join the Cineplex Digital Products & Architecture team as Director, Digital Product Management, who will lead a team at the forefront of crafting and executing a product vision and strategy that will delight our guests across all our entertainment experiences, including The Rec Room, Playdium, as well as the Cineplex movie-going experience.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in eCommerce to drive initiatives across our multi-platform, multi-line of business footprint, and innovate to drive impactful, creative, and best-in-class guest experiences across web and mobile apps. This role requires a passion for building digital experiences and understanding the data that drives decisions, a track record of driving complex product customer facing product strategy, strong leadership skills, and experience with delivery in an Agile environment.

Delivery Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and our SEO practice that maintain, optimize, and evolve the Cineplex digital ecosystem, supporting the development of product vision and strategy

  • Be a champion of Agile methodologies, coaching the team on prioritization and iterative development of features to drive value quickly

  • Advocate a guest-first mindset using metrics and KPIs to drive decisions and priorities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Exhibition, Amusement, Marketing, and Media businesses ensuring alignment of priorities across product roadmaps

  • Oversee integrated product roadmaps, aligning new builds, features, and optimization across web & mobile apps

  • Support your team in the prioritization of backlogs against business outcomes and key value streams

  • Deeply understand customer needs through research, analytics, and feedback, and translate these insights into actionable product features

  • Leverage your leadership and communication skills to foster strong working relationships across Cineplex

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and innovation

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in relevant field of study.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of digital product management experience, preferably with multi-platform eCommerce ecosystem applications and services

  • 3+ years working with analytics, business insights, and conversion funnels

  • 3+ years as a people leader, managing multiple product managers in an Agile product development environment

  • Experience with managing vendors and/or developing partnerships with third party/outsourcing companies on product development

  • Experience building an SEO practice and driving outcomes

  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking with a track record of delivery
