THE ROLEThe Arena and Operation Supervisor plays an important role for Personnel Support Programs. They support both Glacier Gardens Arena and outdoor sporting facilities for our military members and their families.
You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the arena, outdoor facilities such as sports fields, assist in budgeting and acquiring supplies, ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed and ensure compliance with the Health & Safety Program. You will also help in training staff in their roles, working as one team with the shared goal of simplifying and improving the quality of life for our military members.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND several years of experience in a related field
AND
Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
Valid Driver’s Licence (BC)
Recreation Facilities Association of British Columbia Arena Ice Maker Course
Recreation Facilities Association of British Columbia Refrigeration Safety Awareness Course
Ice Facility Operator (Asset)
Experience
In resource administration
In operating an arena or similar facility
In ice maintenance procedures
In maintenance and lining of sports fields
In personnel administration
In operating ice rink equipment
In operating outdoor facility maintenance equipment
