- Complete onboard and other logs
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
- Prepare accident reports
- Secure special attachments to equipment
- Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment
- Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
- Perform minor repairs to equipment
- Transport and handle dangerous goods
- Operate mobile crane Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate Type of product
