About the Job

As a Bookkeeper at Asian Cafe, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our accounting processes. This temporary position offers a full-time schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week, providing you with the opportunity to contribute significantly to our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Requirements

• Education: College/CEGEP
• Experience: 2 to 3 years in bookkeeping or equivalent experience
